Scripture
Philippians 4:7
7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
John 16:33
33I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.
Isaiah 26:3
3You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.
Colossians 3:2
2Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.
Psalms 100:4
4Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.
John 15:5
5I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.
Acts 16:22-26
22The crowd joined in the attack against Paul and Silas, and the magistrates ordered them to be stripped and beaten with rods.
23After they had been severely flogged, they were thrown into prison, and the jailer was commanded to guard them carefully.
24When he received these orders, he put them in the inner cell and fastened their feet in the stocks.
25About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them.
26Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone's chains came loose.
Matthew 6:25-27
25Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?
26Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?
27Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life Or [single cubit to your height]?
Proverbs 10:27
27The fear of the Lord adds length to life, but the years of the wicked are cut short.
1 Peter 2:9
9But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
Luke 10:38-42
38As Jesus and his disciples were on their way, he came to a village where a woman named Martha opened her home to him.
39She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord's feet listening to what he said.
40But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, Lord, don't you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!
41Martha, Martha, the Lord answered, you are worried and upset about many things,
42but few things are needed-or indeed only one. Some manuscripts [but only one thing is needed] Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.
